In response to a Tasmanian initiative, the National MBA Golf website home page last year carried a calendar displaying State and Regional fixtures for 2018. The intention is to facilitate the awareness of and registration at local events where any interstate travelling club member may be visiting. Click on either the button or the image to access the calendar.
Information and registration options are obtained by passing the cursor over the relevant date. Registration methods vary from club to club. The options listed at this time are simply suggestions based on assumptions. Where on-line registration facilities exist, it is a simple matter to click on the actual date (number) to access the relevant registration page.
This development may be the catalyst for the consideration of a single centralized on-line booking system for all of the nation's MBA Golf fixtures, to the shared cost and advantage of the whole movement. Consideration and feedback requested.
Club Secretaries are again requested to review the suggested registration method for their own club's events, test the effectiveness of the system and provide feedback, especially of any known visitations, to the webmaster.

Subject: Feedback Request: National Fixtures Calendar ~ MBA Golf ~ 2019/2020
Greetings gentlemen,
further to the request (below + 2017/18 invoice) for opinion/feedback re the future of the National Calendar, please be advised of the following:
- There has only been one response, in favour of retention.
- There has been no additional meaningful feedback.
- Compilation of the facility, with the existing interactivity, is a complex task, and the web-master deems it impractical, in the face of disinterest, to prepare and publish for 2019 at this time of year.
- The web-master is prepared to reproduce the Calendar, for fixtures in 2020, should a majority of state clubs indicate their interest.
- Should the facility be confirmed for renewal, all fixtures should be remitted to the web-master by 30 November, in order to allow timely compilation and publication. Beyond that date, no further submissions can be accepted.
regards,
